This week was the release of the latest California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) standardized test scores. They provide the latest insights into post-pandemic student academic achievement across the state for all grades and demographics. At Educational Results Partnership (ERP), we believe these results present an opportunity to use these data to identify the many bright spots that exist all across the state in rural and urban environments and to replicate their success.
For over 10 years, ERP has focused on using these results to:
Find Honor Roll schools that are outperforming others in closing equity gaps with African American, Latino and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.
Identify the best practices for achieving equitable outcomes among these groups.
Give a voice to these schools and build a collegial network of educators who collaborate to share their best practices and scale success to a larger population of students.
This approach has proven effective, and we believe it’s the best way forward in response to the latest results. If you are interested in learning more about how to join this collaborative network focused on improving academic achievement for students, we invite you to join our upcoming webinar on Thursday, October 24th at 3pm. Thank you for your dedication to student success. We look forward to partnering with you to drive positive change.
